Calorie Shifting Diet Plan – Questions
Over the last few weeks I have received several very interesting questions about the calorie shifting diet plan from subscribers to my newsletter. I have answered each one personally, and some of them took some research! So welcome to the beginning of what will one day be my website FAQ. Here are a couple of the better questions.
1. I’m a vegetarian. Can I still use the Calorie Shifting plan?
Answer: Yes. Fat Loss 4 Idiots provides you with an “Online Diet Generator” which permits you to select the foods that you prefer. Also, I just received some good news. 2. I have high cholestorol and I see some pretty fatty foods on the sample menu. Can I use the calorie shifting diet plan with my dietary restrictions?
Answer: Yes, but I don’t recommend it. You would have to purchase the “Fat Loss 4 Idiots” system and use the Online Diet Generator to filter out the foods that you can’t have on your low cholestol diet. For example, you could eat lean ham instead of bacon, and egg substitute instead of fresh eggs. But after researching low cholesterol diets, two things stand out:
A. I believe that you would lose weight in this system with those dietary limitations but not as much as you would if you could follow it completely;
B. The more conventional “diet and exercise” systems have diets which fit hand in hand with the low cholesterol diet. I highly recommend “Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle” as a guide. I just wanted to thank you for having this blog, and sending the newsletter. Both help me tremendously! I am on day 6 of the 11 day diet (I used the diet generator because I am a picky eater), and I’ve lost 8 pounds so far. To tell the whole truth, I should admit that I have lost 38 pounds on my own (before attempting the 11 day diet), but I had stalled at that weight for 5 weeks. Thank goodness the 11 day diet has kicked my metabolism back into high gear! Anyone else reading this post should also know that I changed my life in January – after leading a sedentary life I began to work out. I know workout 6 days a week (Fridays are my “day off” – TGIF); 3 days of cardio (treadclimber, 10-12 miles bike rides), and 3 days of weight training on our BowFlex. I felt I should mention that because I think it’s important for dieters to know that the 11 day diet will not do it alone. GET MOVING!
